Andrea Benge / ANDiLAND is a multi-media artist who creates work at the intersection of circus arts and new media. Utilizing performance motion capture within the framework of Cinema Du Corps, bridging the ephemeral grit of physical performance with a hyper-vibrant, gravity-defying digital cinematic space. She is a multi International award winning filmmaker and has had her work screened at over 30 film festivals around the world including Slamdance Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival, Supernova Digital Animation Film Festival, Brussels Independent Film Festival, Alpinale Kurzfilmfestival, Sydney World Film Festival, Obskuur Ghent Film Festival, and New Orleans Film Festival. Her recent awards include Best Animated Film at Maryland International Film Festival, Best Experimental Film at the Syndey World Film Festival in Syndey, Australia and Best Underground Film at the Obkuur Ghent Film Festival in Ghent, Belgium, and is a five time Tarkovski Grant recipient. She is currently a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of 3D Animation at Arizona State University Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts and Co-Captain of Animation Shorts Programming for Slamdance Film Festival. 🐰🎨👄😈✨🔪
